My husband asked me to make a card this morning for one of his photography friends whose birthday is today. He wanted it to have something to do with cameras. I printed some photo's which hubby had taken of flowers and put them behind a die cut film strip. The DL card I used is silver foiled and has a very pastel print, which doesn't show up in the photo. I really don't like making mens cards as I find them so difficult to do.

Papertake Weekly is to make a man's card - so it's not a traditional man's card, but hopefull it will be okay.

This card I made using the sketch on My Paper World. I stamped the main image onto white cardstock and then coloured it using various distress inks. I then layered this onto yellow then red card and then mounted it onto some script scrapbook paper. I then stappled a piece of ribbon to the image and stamped Just a note onto a small oval of white card and coloured it again using distress ink. The main card I used is a square white card.
I made these tags or a monthly swap I'm involved in. I used white cardstock and cut the tag shapes. I stamped and embossed using gold, red and black inks and then I used distress ink pads to colour the tags.
